Woodside sponsorship of Nippers kids surf program divides community in resource-rich WA

A week before her five-year-old daughter was due to start her first Nippers class this year, Tahlia Stolarski discovered the uniform, which must be worn, was emblazoned with name of oil and gas giant Woodside.

"I'd been following the Scarborough gas proposal quite closely," Ms Stolarski told Nadia Mitsopoulos on ABC Radio Perth.

"I was pretty disgusted about the numbers, in terms of pollution, and what that meant for the future of our children and children globally."
