WA Government announces casino watchdog boss Duncan Ord to retire

The WA Government has announced gaming regulator boss Duncan Ord will retire this year, days after his appearance before a royal commission into Crown casino's operations in Perth.

Mr Ord has been the director general of the Department of Local Government, Sports and Cultural Industries since 2017, when his former department of culture and arts merged.
