Man fights for life after rollover crash on Perth’s Kwinana Freeway

A 32‑year‑old man is fighting for life after being rescued from a red Jeep Wrangler that veered off and rolled on Perth’s Kwinana Freeway near Roe Highway in North Lake at around 11:30 pm on Sunday. Fire crews used the jaws of life to free him from the wreckage before he was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The 22‑year‑old driver, who escaped with minor injuries, is also at the hospital. Northbound lanes were closed for hours as major crash investigators work to discover the cause.
