Anti-drag flyers distributed in Perth before popular children's drag story time

Perth's performing arts and LGBTQIA+ communities have rallied around a drag performer after "hateful" anti-drag flyers were distributed before a popular story time event.

Drag artist Cougar Morrison, who has been facilitating children's story hour events for five years, said material was dropped in letterboxes in the area on the morning of a council-supported event at the Maylands Library last week.

She said the flyer included pictures of her dressed up to perform in a nightclub.
