Queenslanders can ramp up their recreational activities from next weekend after restrictions were eased as the state’s coronavirus curve continues to flatten.

Just three new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 1030.

Following discussions with the state’s medical experts, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk announced a number of stay-at-home orders would be lifted from midnight on Friday.
